Dawn's Details: I initially drew on this piece on a blank at Big Wow in San Jose (now called Silicon Valley Comic Con) in 2015. The paper didn't take markers very well & was pretty much destroyed when I tried to color it.

Because of that, I promised the person who commissioned it that I'd redo the piece for them once I was home, which I did, and was able to add greater detail. (I have since learned that you test the blanks first to check if they work with marker or not. I learned the hard way here.)

Magdalena has a few different outfits, so I chose my favorite version, designed by Eric 'e.Bas' Basaldua to draw here. Because she is a fierce warrior woman, I went with more of a grimace on her face, which I feel is in keeping with her character. I hope you like it!
